Villa Mondriaan

Villa Mondriaan is a unique museum in Winterswijk, in a stunning house, covering the younger years of Piet Mondriaan. The painting career of Piet Mondriaan began in Winterswijk, where he lived between the ages of eight and twenty. He found genuine world fame in Paris and New York but discovered his passion for painting and drawing in Winterswijk. Here, he worked on developing the talent that would see him grow into one of the most important painting innovators.
