Inn and open-air museum Erve Kots in Lievelde

In the old Saxon inn Erve Kots in Lievelde you will be warmly welcomed with a cup of coffee before a guided tour of the open-air museum. In this museum you will take a big step back in time and discover how the Achterhoek farmer used to live here with his cattle and family.

During the tour you will be taken to the Erve Kots farm, the windmill and the sawmill. This is where the farmer used to work with his cattle, while his wife wove fabric in the weaving mill. The open-air museum takes its name from JH Kots, the previous occupant of the farm. After the tour you can view various exhibitions, where works of art convey various Achterhoek stories.

It is also possible to book an excursion with a group, so that you can combine a visit to the museum with a walk through the surrounding nature. Erve Kots also has its own brewery where their beer is served.
